Anime Travel 38 - Medalist in Real Life

Nagoya Sports Center where Iori always trains

I rarely watch sports anime. However with such a good art and storytelling, I decided to watch through this ice-skating themed work (other than my wife that is really into iceskating). Anyway, the setting of this anime is mainly around Nagoya city, Aichi. So when I had the opportunity to visit Nagoya, there is no way I would miss the opportunity with the material hunting for this post.

1. Nagoya Sports Center

The first spot was the Nagoya Sports Center ice rink, where Tsukasa and Iori usually do the training activities (I think the name the club where they belong was Higashi-yama FSC). It was located nearby the Ōsu-Kanon station.

You can find all the stuffs related to this anime here.

2. Ōsu-Kanon Temple

The second spot that I visited was the nearby temple. Seemingly this place is quiet famous as a tourist attraction, especially with all of the doves which was very iconic.

There is a police box nearby the temple.

On the way to the third location, there was a road where there was a small park called Ōsu-Kanon Donguri Hiroba (JP: 大須観音どんぐりひろば). There was a small fire station if I am not mistaken.

3. Uramonzen Park

The last spot I visited was the Ura-Monzen Park which is around 10 minutes walk from Ōsu-Kanon temple.
