| Nagaharabashi Bridge in Real Life where Ritsu and Usa often interact |
Here's one of my other childhood classic romance anime. The story revolves around a boy named Kazunari Usa who is living in an quirky and eccentric share house by the name of "Kawai-sou". By the way I never knew the title was "The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior" until I checked MAL lol.
The spot of the anime was located around Gifu city around the Nagarahashi bridge, nearby the Gifu park. Here, we can also find the sight of Gifu castle up on the hill.
The bridge I think was the most iconic location of the anime. Following shot showing the time Ritsu going to and from school which of course at the different direction (while always reading book which might be a safety hazard lol).

At the northern part of the bridge, we can find the clock tower. But seemingly the statue has been moved to the south part of the bridge.

At the southern part of the bridge, we can find a dock for river boat which I think is the main attraction of the area (but not operational when I visited).

Overall, we can see the top of hill with Gifu castle at the top. The castle park provided ropeways to access the castle at the top.

Not far from there, we can also find a traditional edo-style shopping district.
