By far, this might be the hardest spot I can go to compared to other pilgrimage spot I have been to before. It was located at a separate island from mainland Shikoku while still in Kagawa Prefecture. The area is known as the Olive island, as we can find that the local produce here is of course, Olives. Shōdoshima Island was so pretty, I can highly recommend you to the visit this island at least once in a lifetime.
For the anime itself, Teasing Master Takagi-san (JP: からかい上手の高木さん、Karakai Jōzu no Tagakisan) is one of my favorite romance series ever produced. Such sweet atmosphere of a middle school romance in a remote island in Japan depicted perfectly in this anime. If you are looking for a light romance comedy, I recommend to watch this anime if you have not already. This post should cover the first, second, and third season of the anime (shown by different copyright tag in each caption).

1. Takamatsu-Shōdosima Ferry
I started my journey from Takamatsu in mainland Shikoku to Shōdoshima Island by the local ferry. This ferry is shown in the anime also. Living in a rather remote island, they need to take this ferry if Takagi and Nishikata want to see civilization. This might be the exact ferry of what actually shown in the anime, but just a bit similar.

2. Tonoshō Port
If you use the ferry from Takamatsu, you will arrive at the western island port by the name of Tonoshō Port.

2. Kasaneiwa Shrine
The second spot I visited was an interesting shrine with rocking stacking at a top of a hill. Going to the top was a good excercise, and you can find beautiful view of the sea at the top so it was worth it. In the anime, this shrine was believed to have a romance effect you climbed the stairs.

4. Around Yanagi Tunel
There were some spots around the local town that were depicted in the anime located around Yanagi Tunnel.

5. Kashimamyo Shrine
The next spot that I visited was I think this series iconic shrine by the name of Kashimamyo.

7. Tomioka Hachiman Shrine
Behind Tonoshō Junior High School, there was a hilltop shrine that was also shown in the anime.

9. Around Tonoshō Town
For the last part, I will put all spots that is located around Tonoshō town, since most only have one pictures. The first spot was the the school of Nishikata and Takagi. Too bad I didn't properly take picture of it, but I think it is still worth it to post them here.
