Anime Travel 16 – A Silent Voice in Real Life
Bridge on the Suimon River |
Apart from Your Name, there was another phenomenal and well-known anime movie released in 2016 by the name of A Silent Voice (JP: 聲の形, Koe no Katachi). This will one of another highly recommended anime from me if you have not watched it yet.
By the way, the setting of the anime was based of real-life locations around Ōgaki Station, Gifu prefecture. You can take a JR train from Nagoya to get here.
1. Ōgaki Station
The first location that I went to was the Ōgaki Station. Here we can find some scenes where the gang meet at the station.

2. Shin-o Bridge
Not far from the station, we can find a unique bridge painted in red. There were some scenes where Shoya and Shoko met.

Not far from the bridge, we can find the main street with lots of (empty) shops. Here there was one scene where Shoya finally met once again with Naoka.

3. Ōgaki Park
The next place that I went to was the Ogaki Park. There were many memorable scenes found in the movie used this park as the background.
The final spot I suppose to be the most iconic place for the anime. It is called Shiki no Hiroba (JP: 四季の広場).
